Jim Leyritz Kills Driver in Fatal Car Crash!!!
There is the picture that told his career. Leyritz hit a three run home run in game 4 against the Atlanta Braves which helped tie the series 2-2 and the Yankees from this point on took control of series and started the run of Championships for the New York Yankees. Now the unthinkable has happened to the New York Yankee hero.
The 44 year old Leyritz was coming back from a Birthday party in his honor and unfortnatley he did not make it home. Leyrtiz crashed into a SUV and the reason that the crashed happened was due to DUI. Leyritz after being notify that due to the crash that the other person in the vechile was killed he needed to a breathliazer test Leyritz refused. If convicted Leyritz will be facing 15 years in prison as of right now Leyritz is out on bail at 11,000, so now you should be seeing all the press coverage that another player got when he got in trouble like Mike Vick? I am just waiting to see how this shakes out.
