Green Day-Celtics Beat Lakers 110-91!!
December 31, 2007 |
The Staples Center went into a frenzy last night not because the Boston Celtics were in town, but that the Lakers were the throwback jerseys that included yes the high shorts.
There has been a lot of talk that the Celtics haven’t played anybody they have had and easy schdule therefore that’s why there record of 25-3 is what it is. The Lakers of late have been playing outstanding basketball and has the 5th best record in the Western Conference. Paul Pierce lead everyone with 33 points Garnett had 22 and 12 rebounds Allen chipped in 19 on the Lakers side Bryant scored 22 points, but he struggled from the floor by going only 6-25.”They’re one of the elite teams. They’re at the next level,” Bryant said. “They’re at the level we’re trying to get to, and the challenge is there for us — do we want to stay in this middle pack, or do we want to get to that next level? The game was never close Boston took charge and lead all the way and won the game with the win Boston wins the match up with the Lakers and sweep them 2-0. The Boston Celtics went on a 4 game road trip to the Western Conference and won all the games, so still think this team is all hype?
