McNabb or Bust!!!!!!!!!!
What do you do when you are not appreciated? That is the question I pose to Donovan McNabb. He has rebounded sooner than most from a horrific knee injury to lead his, for lack of a better word, talentless squad to contention of a wildcard spot in the NFC playoffs. The Eagles as we all know do not have the talent that most teams who maybe in the line for the qb’s services have. When you have made due with the likes of Reggie Brown and Kevin Curtis as your go to receivers and you continue to make them as successful as they can be who wouldn’t want you as the leader of their franchise? Well I here by give you another team to throw in the hat. The Atlanta Falcons. Here in the ATL we have seen what an atheletic and also black quarterback can do for this community. Let’s throw in the fact that this quarterback, at least not to my knowledge, doesn’t fight dogs. Add also that he will complete 60% of his passes and you have the right ingredients for success. Right now that is what the Falcons are missing. To this point the Falcons with a win on Sunday against the Bucs can move within a game of first place. Imagine that after the debacle that was the Mike Vick situation, the constant wondering who the qb would be ( Harrington or Leftwich) and this team could wake up Monday morning a game out of first. With a banged up Colts team on the horizon and things don’t look that bad. Roddy White has stepped his game up and Loren Robinson looks like he can play in this league. Even if Warrick Dunn doesn’t return you lightning in a bottle with Jerious Norwood. All that teamed up with the dynamics of an appreciated and rejuvenated McNabb and the city of Atlanta could put the Vick debacle behind them alot sooner than many expected. Also the kids can turn in thier #7 jerseys for a #5 and noone misses a beat. Rich McKay and Authur Blank take that money you will get back from #7 ( that is what he will be refered to from here on out) and get McNabb. As the kids say that would be a good look.
