That’s right, American Gangster starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe was number #1 at the box office this weekend. At $46.3 million, this movie has helped the movie industry six week slump. American Gangster is the story of Frank Lucas, Harlem’s most notorious kingppin; his rise in the million dollar heroin sales to the life of an informant.  Other notable actors & actresses include Ruby Dee, Cuba Gooding Jr. Common, T.I. and Josh Brolin.

    11-08-07 Academy Selects Architecture Firm for Museum in Hollywood
    Beverly Hills, CA — The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures will be designed by French architecture firm Atelier Christian de Portzamparc, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Sid Ganis announced today. The selection was approved by the Academy’s Board of Governors, based on the recommendations of the Architect Selection Subcommittee, chaired by Academy member Jeannine Oppewall.
