Game of the week………..DUH!!!!! COLTS vs PATRIOTS

Written on October 30, 2007 – 5:19 am | by chanceblack |

ind_logo-80×90.giflogo_cut.gifWell gang the time has come to see if the Patriots are really the “Evil Empire” of the NFL. This game is a little more than a regular season game. The teams that the Patriots have beaten are pulling for the Colts to give them a taste of their own medicine. I’ve seen some good teams face-off, but these two teams really don’t like each other. This will be a classic case of Class vs the Classless. Yes I believe that what the Patriots did to the Redskins was classless. Now the team the Patriots were built to beat are up.After losing 3 straight including the AFC championship game last year to the Colts, The Pats are really beating teams and in some cases overkilling to get to this game.

This will be a game for the record books. Of Course, I hope the Patriots win, but in the Fantasy world I hope the Colts win. So I find myself in between these two teams. And to the remark about the Pats being classless for putting a killing on the Skins, I look at it like this this is a Pro game and there is no mercy in the NFL. Only the strong survive. When I see games like this I always think back to 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers and how they killed everyone they played that year. Thats not the pros but were they classless because they did that. Remember (sorry K-boogie) we beat the Gator 62-24 and just go back and look at the scores from that season. You will say DAMN!!!

in the college game it is expected to run up the score for ranking reasons. In the pros however there is nothing wrong with beating a team, but to humiliate them because you can is not the name of the game.I don’t see the Colts or any other team who has beaten a team do anything of the such. There is on field respect that you show when you are clearly the better team. All other teams show it srry there is no excuse for such acts as a former player that is classless. Everyone acts like the skins were on some kind of comeback they didn’t score till the 4th quarter and it was late in the game.Colts beat the Panthers 31-7 clearly they were the better team and showed some on field respect for the other team. If the Patriots are doing this because the coach was caught cheating they really need to wake up. No matter how bad they beat teams the past will always be in question that is no fault of anyone but the people involved. But hey there is no rule for running up the score so by all means do what you feel but when other teams stop respecting you no matter what you do,that leaves the door open for some stupid stuff such as retaliations and bounty hits. I DONT WANT FOOTBALL TO RESORT TO IT!!! Because Belichick got caught and wants to make some kind of a statement. You want to prove your worth win the super bowl bottom line. Pro athletes are proud people just like the Patriots we can accept defeat when we are overmatched,But we also know when you are clearly showing no class or respect when you are the better man. Don’t want another Bart Scott, Reggie Bush incident. Whether you agree with it or not thats where its heading.

Chance you keep harping on the fact that the Colts only won 31-7 when they were clearly the better team. Have you ever thought that the Panthers would not allow anymore points to be scored on them. Maybe their defense got a backbone and said no more. What about that? You don’t think about it that way all you want to talk about are bounty hits and being disrespected. Again I say because you don’t want to play anymore I’m supposed to quit sorry not gonna happen. If this were the Dallas Cowboys you would be singing a different tune.
