Yankee Turmoil

For the last 12 years one man has restored the pride back to the Yankees. One man has been victorious in four World Series and has been to two others. Losing once to the dynamic duo of Curt Schilling and Randy Johnson in the 2001 Series (classic seven game down to wire series). Then in 2003 losing to young fire baller Josh Beckett and a team from Florida who simply would not be denied. Is that enough to push a guy right out the door because he didn’t win the championship every year. Okay, you say he did have the best collection of talent the “Boss” could buy. That is true but we all know that just because you have the best players doesn’t always mean you have the best team. With that being said people here in Atlanta have been putting up with Bobby Cox for 17 years. Sure he has won 15 division titles but only one championship(the only one the city has). I just don’t think it is right to treat a guy this way. The telling sign that if the Yankees do Joe Torre the wrong way the core of this team aside from Derek Jeter is ready to bail. Jorge Posada, Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettit, and of course the man himself Alex Rodriguez are all watching this situation to see how it is handled.

Derek Jeter is ready to bail? no my friend its all money. The players love torre but the names you have just mention are now in there last run to getting a big contract there is no other team that can pay these guys like the New York Yankees. The only one that might not be back is A-Rod, everyone else will be back Derek Jeter is bigger than the franchise he is not leaving to go anywhere and the main reason why they are staying also the new Yankee Stadium is opening up 2009. Bottom line no other team can’t pay them like Yanks!!!

I said aside from Derek Jeter everyone knows he is not going anywhere. For once I think this is not about money they may not be paid in great amounts by the same team but individually they can get their money. So this is not about cheese sir.
