Are the Falcons that Bad-Pt.3
I would like to preface this blog by saying for anyone who knows me I prefer the college game to the NFL. By that I mean I’m partial to the team rather than the player. Being a Florida Gator fan I have seen players such Neal Anderson, John L. Williams, Emmitt Smith, Shane Matthews, Danny Wuerrfel, and Chris Leak just to name a few. Once they have either graduated or left for the pros I continue to be a fan of the program not just the player. Now after saying that this Falcon situation and how certain people feel about it burns me up. Instead of being a fan of the team and the organization you have people who were there for the players. You have the situation with the Mike Vick case and you have a team built around this player and the player not appreciate it. Then when the franchise is handcuffed because of it then people run. It just doesn’t make any sense. People always say that Atlanta is the worst sports city and I take a step and say no way it can’t be. Then we have people who act like they do for a player who didnot want to be playing this great football game. What he wanted to do is what he pleaded guilty for.

I understand what you are saying that the fans need to fans of the team than the player, but the problem is that Atlanta doesn’t keep the stars players long enough so the fan finds them more in love with the player than the team. Knowing DAMN well the player in a few season will be gone example Deion Sanders, Andre Rison, Dominquie Wilkins,Mike Vick Andrew Jones and David Justice. The black community will like to go to the game and see something that represents them that’s all. You’re right Atlanta will always be a college town never ever a pro town.
