Tribe Beats BoSox 13-6!!!!

Cleveland Indians

The game took 5hr and 17 min and after the smoke cleared the Cleveland Indians were left standing. Fausto Carmona of Indians started the game in the third inning he was touched up for three runs and the Red Sox took the lead 3-1.

Curt Schilling for the Red Sox was not his normal clutch pitching performance. He only went 4/23 innings gave up 5 runs and the Indians had the lead at 5-3. The Red Sox struck back Manny Ramierez hitting a two run homerun and Mike Lowell hit a solo shot and Sox took a 6-5 lead. Indians got in a run and the next inning and tied the game up 6-6. Top of the 11th Trot Nixon who played with the Red Sox for 11 years came back in a Cleveland uniform and hit a single to drive in the go ahead run 7-6. The tribe never looked back they went on and beat the Red Sox 13-6. Eric Gange who set up the runners on base for the 11th inning rally will not ever see the mound again during the post season. Game 3 in Cleveland series tied up 1-1.
