Tribe Beat Yanks 12-3

Written on October 4, 2007 – 7:36 pm | by Harry Robinson |

It was suppose to be a pitching duel, not exactly the Indians and the Yankees at least for the first 5 innings had a slug fest on both sides.  The Indians pulled away the bottom half of the 5th inning with scoring 5 runs and the key to the rally was good ole Kenny Lofton.  Lofton went 3 for 4 with 4 runs batted in.  The Yankees had no answer for Lofton.  The Yankees big time players did not step up to the plate.  Jeter,Posada,Matsui and Alex Rodriguez went 0-14 with 5 strike outs.  No this wasn’t all A-Rod fault this was a team effort.  Now Game 2 Friday 4:30pm Est the Yankees will call on Andy Petitte to stop the Indians, not even the betrail of Cleveland’s brightest star Lebron James who wore a Yankee hat could not stop the Tribe from beating the Yankees.  Let the talk begin Indians Vs. Rockies in the World Series parton me while I go Vomit.
