Don’t let the title of this article fool you. There was nothing controversial that happened to the South Florida Bulls Thursday night in New Jersey. The Scarlet Knights of Rutgers simply out played the Bulls. Pure and simple. When you have a workhorse like Ray Rice who can tote the mail 36 times for 185 yards that will wear on even the best teams. Thursday night that team was South Florida. I was going to call this article Cinderella’s slipper no longer fits, but I felt that it was too early for all the Cinderella talk. Now the big boys who were scared of not having high TV ratings for the Championship game can now rest a little easier. Without the Bulls in their way teams such as LSU, Oklahoma, Boston College, yes even South Carolina now have a huge block cleared from the road way.
