There’s no Hope

Ladies ladies can we be a bit more professional please.  Hope Solo showed after the U.S. womens soccer team lost to a far more prepared and more talented and hungrier Brazil team 4-0. Solo blasted coach Greg Ryan about the move to replace Solo with Briana Scurry who had a record of 12-0-1 in her career against the Brazilian team.  The first goal was a own goal that headed into the U.S. goal off a throw in. The next two goals by Brazil’s superstar Marta were things of beauty that in my personal opinion noone would have stopped.  It was Solo’s postgame comments that really stuck with me.  She would say that in her mind that she would have made each and every one of those saves and that the game would hae been different with her in the game. To me even if you disagree with the decisions made by your coach you don’t put that kind of stff out in the media when you have another game to play. Those are the type of things that stay behind closed doors.  Now the best team noone has heard of knows about them for the wrong reasons.  Thanks Hope.

i told you guys before that this was the greatest team you never heard of….thanks to NIKE, but if you really look back and see that Solo is right it is about what you can do now and not in the past. Even if you look back to when Mia Hamm had the women’s soccor world on fire, she did it her way and noone could stop her. Now she was a true athlete. Don’t sleep on women’s sports
