Yes this weekend showed what is good and what is possibly bad with College Football.  With Appalachian State’s victory over Michigan in the big house people now want to say College needs a playoff.  The little guy needs a chance.  No they don’t.  Yes that what we saw Saturday was fantastic, but how many times do you think realisticly that can happen?  People want to point to Boise St and what they did to Oklahoma in the Fiesta in what many call the best college football game ever played(me included).  That Oklahoma team didnot have a very good quaterback and Adrian Peterson was coming off a shoulder blade injury and that was his first game back.  Take away the amazing hook and ladder and oklahoma has a come from behind victory and Boise goes home with a moral victory.  Again being a Florida Gator fan I wanted no part of Boise but to put everything in its proper perspective Florida with that defense and Chris Leak managing the game it would not have been a game.  With that being said what happened to Michigan was what is great about the game. You have to be ready from game one if you are going to win the National Championship.  As far as teams getting screwed we look at College Basketball and March madness and their are teams every year that say they deserve a bid and don’t.  Don’t ruin the game I love with another piece from the NFL.Enjoy the tournament that is every week in college football.
