My Saturday Re-cap
It’s your boy K-Boogie coming with what is sure to be my world famous Saturday re-cap. Let’s get to it:
Yes, yes , yes how good wa Saturday September 1? Well let me count the ways. We had a no-hitter thrown in baseball, the biggest upset maybe ever in college football, and the people of Virgina tech have something else to think about than the tragedy that shook their community in April. That my friends is the beauty of sports. College Football is officially back and better than ever. Who in their right mind could have predicted a 1-AA school(Appalachian St.) beat a 1-A school(Michigan) ranked in the top 5 and at home. The kids from Boone,NC still have yet to place their heads on a pillow and fall asleep. The Labor Day BBQ will be off the chain. Kids please be careful. Now I know you guys who are in favor of a playoff system think your point has been proven. Think again. This was a classic case of Goliath really really over looking David. To be honest this David has pretty good size and talent about itself. They are the reigning champs in 1-AA. If this happened on a consistent basis then I would agreewith you. Now we need to find Michigan a new coach. Still think Tim Tebow can’t pass? I know that it was W.Kentucky and the real competition isn’t for another two weeks but he did look real good. Tebow went 13 of 17 for 300yds and 4tds(1 rushing). Lookout SEC. California exacted revenge as they pounded Tennessee 45-31. This game was a classic western type shootout back and forth for much of the game until Cal took control late in the fourth quarter. Desean Jackson you sir are incredible. Do not punt the ball to this man. Georgia came away with a dominating performance holding an explosive offense like Oklahoma State to just 14 points and really punishing the Cowboys all game long. How about Georgia Tech putting on Notre Dame and Touchdown Jesus 33-3. Jon Tenuta showed how good of a defensive coach he is. Tech got 7 sacks on three Irish quarterbacks including wonder boy Jimmy Clausen, need we say more. Yes, how about Tashard Choice running for 196yds. Also as I end this column Nebraska won as well. What a first Saturday holla next week.
