After watching and participating in the ESPN special “The  Vick Divide”, I was surpised and some what angered by the how the people on the panel were very flip-floppy when the crowd responded with boos or cheers. I saw these panelist at first stand on their ground that Vick did something illegal and should pay for his actions. This I do agree with, But what was lost in the show was,” is the price Vick has to pay too much”? No one said he should be pardoned, and those that think he should are not helping the cause. Ask yourself this question have you seen any animal worth 162 million dollars? Frankly I don’t think that Paris Hilton would even consider that purchase. This is what I mean by the price Vick has to pay. 1: he faces a jail sentence of 18months+

2:he has lost all endorsements

3:he has lost his place on the Falcons team

4:possible Ban from ever playing in the NFL

5:humane groups printing and selling Items with the words Hate Vick on them and drawing a profit.

6:his character and spirit being ripped and torn by countless media and public figures.

This list could go on and on. If You had just came to this country and not had any idea what was going on you would think that Mike Vick was the biggest serial killer since Ted Bundy. Yet No one is seeing this point and the ones that do, they are being bombared with STUPID questions like “so you think dog fighting should be legal?” NOONE SAID THAT!!!!!!!!!! We are simply saying enough is enough. This is a man with no prior record,he brought hope to a team that was dead, he did a lot for the community and he was partly the reason why the NFL was the most popular sport in this country. I would think that the 162 million dollar loss would have been enough for anyone to see that was payment enough. Most of us couldn’t even fathom that kind of money. Now take in account that Adam “Pac-Man”Jones was involed in someone being paralyzed for life and a woman was beaten, Tank Johnson had illegal guns,Chris Henry has countless DUI and drug violations,these guys will most likely be playing this year at some point and time. Yet when the same panelist are asked if compared to what Vick recieved and what these guys got as punishment they cowered in their corners pointing fingers at Roger Goodell. Nice job people I thought they would at least have the balls to say the truth that this not fair and we as influential people need to say something against it. Instead it was “that was mr. Goodell’s call not ours” COWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! then when the poeple booed you wanted to jump on the band-wagon that is not fair how Vick is being treated and you say what can we do? You  knew enough to kick the man when he is down but not enough to stand and say to all the others doin the kickin STOP this is not right. I say this Vick Fans there are more of us than PETA people and like PETA requesting that Vick be put away for life Maybe we need to request that Vick be givin a break. Tell Mr. Goodell how we really feel about this. Because whether your Black or White,Purple ,Green or Indifferent, FAIR treatment is the cause here.
