Last night the Texas Rangers made MLB history by not just beating the Baltimore Orioles but killing them, destorying them, murdering them and any other word that means that got there butts beat.  The Rangers became the first team in all the 110 years to ever score 30pts in a single game.  The Orioles only scored 3pts .  The Rangers had five runs in the fourth inning, nine runs in the sixth, ten in the eight, and six in ninth. .  Trailing 3-0 in the opener of a doubleheader, Teaxs coonldn’t be stopped.  Finally, the last-place Rangers did something right.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Ramon Vazquez, the two bottom hitters in the Texas line-up, each homered twice and finished with seven RBIs.  The last time two teammates had as many as seven RBIs in a game was 1962.  ”This is something freaky. You won’t see anything like this again for a long, long time. I am glad I was on this end of it,” said Marlon Byrd, who hit one of the two Texas grand slams.
