Johan Santana 17 Strikeouts!!!
It was not a no hitter but Johan Santana showed why he his one of the best if not the best pitcher in the MLB. Santana threw a 2 hitter yesterday and the Twins beat the Texas Rangers 1-0. The 17 strikeouts is the most in franchise history. “What a performance,” manager Ron Gardenhire said. “That was special. It’s just like he said to me, ‘Sometimes it happens.’ Well, it happened.”
