Fantasy Team Review: GATOR BOYZ- K-Boogie
With K’s first pick……..Reggie Bush-SAINTS. Same for K as I said with H3O’s first pick,…..WHY? Sure Reggie is a dynamo waiting to happen, the key word here is WAITING. He will surely take the league by storm when he is the full-time starter. At least H3O picked a starter that will probably touch the ball most of the game he plays in. Like H3O’s pick of Westbrook, this isn’t a bad pick…..wasted but not bad. Too many other guys that are more than just role-players ahead of Bush, And lets not for get the sophmore jinx. The STARTING LINE-UP:
QB- Carson Palmer- BENGALS
RB1- Reggie Bush- SAINTS
RB2-Willis McGahee-RAVENS
WR1- Lee Evans- BILLS
WR2- Reggie Wayne- COLTS
WR3- T.J. Houshmanzadeh-BENGALS(championship!)
TE-Dallas Clark-COLTS
K- Stephen Gostkowski-PATRIOTS
DEF- CHARGERS
the rest of the team: QB-Jon Kitna, RB- Maurice Jones-Drew, WR- Terry Glenn, K-Jason Elam, DEF-Raiders. Well if I had to review this team up & down(and I did), You will see quite a few role players on this team and I think a fantasy first 2 kickers.Lets break them down,QBs first Palmer was a steal in the 2nd round to me mainly because He put up better numbers than Manning last year. Now that the Colts finally won the big one Carson is next in line. He will be hungry and determined to give the BENGALS a championship. Much like Peyton was, excellent pick-up. As far as 10 game Kitna goes well he will have to show more than talk. average back-up you will only need him for a game when the bengals get their bye. RBs here is a problem lots of fantasy owners would love to have 2 lightning bolts waiting to happen Bush and Jones-Drew. Big play guys they have a all or nothing attitude and most of the time they succeed. McGahee on the other hand will be solid thru out the season the Ravens never really put up big offensive numbers thats not the way they play. WRs corp is a interesting one, you have 3 role players and 1 starter, But all are effective on their respected teams. Only change I see will be between Evans and Glenn ,Bills O-line is questionable and he is the main target for Losman. Where as T.O. will get a lot of the coverage, O-line is better than average, Glenn will be forgotten most of the time.TE- Clark is a game changer and a saftey valve for Manning he is overlooked and has produced big play down the stretch. Problem here is will they have that same killer attitude thay had last year? still not bad. K-I said it once and I will say it again the Patriots are the scariest team in the NFL this season! Gostkowski will probably have more opportunities to score than anyone one else. At least on paper, Why you chose Elam is a mystery to me. You could have gotten another game changer, Elam will only get in the line-up once.DEFs- I like this pick ,although I think Norv Turner has something to prove, He is still not a very good head-coach so I hope Turner stays out of the defense. If he does then this is a great pick, if not well you will have to rely on the Raiders? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING ???? talk about me seeing headlights? You must have saw the whole car! This is not a good pick. Yes the Raiders had a good def because the offense stunk. you do realize that the Raiders had the worst turnover rate? special teams had only moments of success. Hope this is a drop pick and trade bait please. You would have gotten a A+ for this team till this pick. Will have to take points off for bad judgement.
