Tecmo or Madden? thats the question!!!!!!!!!!!

Before the days of Madden,( those of you who can remember) there was Tecmo bowl. The side scrolling football game that was sweepin the nation. Tecmo bowl and the first Final Fantasy was the only games I liked on the original Nintendo system. Then came Tecmo Superbowl, it had all the teams, a regular season, playoffs, and the Superbowl. The only thing was it was only on the original Nintendo system, I was into SEGA Genesis then. So I had to keep the Nintendo system. Then Tecmo moved to Sega, followed by a release on the original playstation, But by then Madden had taken over and so many other football games came out. Tecmo bowl was no-where to be found.
Well now that all those other football games can’t seem to hold a stick to the Madden domination. They are all but disappeared form the scene. BUT WAIT Next-Gen fans,…. Tecmo is rumored to be re-releasing Tecmo Superbowl for the Next-Gen systems. I had to investigate this one. I love Madden but sometimes I just want to play football without all the set-up and although wonderful extras Madden has. Tecmo Bowl was so simple to play that even a caveman could do it! ( lol! for those who got that). I mean really You could unwrap,pop it in and You could give even the most seasoned Tecmo bowl Veteran a run. I even particapated in a tourney at a bachelor partywhere most of the guys were not avid gamers. It was fun, exciting, and like I said befor SIMPLE! So what’s the Next-Gen edition gonna be like you ask? Well Tecmo is being very tight lipped about it. I think they are working on a deal for which system to be available for. They should do both X-box 360 and PS-3,and yes of course the Nintendo Wii if possible. I personally can’t wait for the realease of the second best football game ever made to make a come back. It may not over take Madden in football game supremacy, But it will be the only other football game worth buying this year. I’m gonna follow-up on this story so keep your eyes peeled.

me and my brother would play this game for hours. I was always the raiders and he was the broncos. man, those were the days!!!
