Venus Williams came in the as the 23^rd seed and took on the 2^nd seed Maria Sharpova.  Williams considered by most experts that the game has passed her by put it all together and beat the second seat Sharpova in straight sets 6-1,6-3 in the Wimbledon quarterfinals.  Williams sister Serena was not so lucky she lost to Justine Henin 6-4,3-6,6-3.  Serna struggled due to a horrible leg cramp injury she got on Monday.  Next up for Venus is 2004 Champion U.S. Open Svetlana Kuznetsova.
