Fantastic Four!!!

Venus Williams came toWimbledon as the 31st ranked player, but yesterday she played like the No. 1 women’s tennis player in the world.  By winning in straight sets 6-4, 6-1.  Venus was able to capture her fourth

Wimbledon title.  Venus overjoyed with the victory had this to say.

“It has been a long road back,” Williams said during the trophy ceremony. “I brought it together here against some of the best players in the world, including

Marion.”   Richard her father and coach feels that Venus should without a doubt win at

Wimbledon at least 3 more times.  If not it will be disappointing.  Venus now with the win at

Wimbledon puts herself in the elite crowd.  Martina Navratilova (9), Steffi Graff (7) and Billie Jean King at 4. “She served 120 miles (193 kph) on first serve. Sometimes it was hurting my wrist so bad, because the ball was coming so fast to me. So I really try my best I think, and I play a great match, but at the end she was just too good.”  Venus maybe the best is yet to come.
