A federal Jury awarded $260,000 on Monday to one of two men who sued NBA star Allen Iverson after they said they were beaten by his entourage at a Washington nightclub in 2005.

The decision against Iverson and his bodyguard, Jason Kane, covers bar patron Marlin Godfrey and David Anthony Kittrell. They tried to sue the Denver Nuggets guard for $20 Million, for medical bills and pain and suffering. Iverson testified last week that he didn’t see the fight, and he was taken away before the fight became serious. He also said the two men are just trying to cash in on his fame and fortune. Attorneys for AI plan to appeal, because of the ruling that said Iverson did not supervise Kane.

Even though, I wrote this story, I think this is a bunch of bulls**t. AI can’t control no one or make them act a certain way. I think they should make the bodyguard pay and not AI. But I do hope he fired his ass!!!

BC you’re right. That’s BS. Half the time when some poeple find out that the bodyguard belongs to a “baller”, they provoke them into a beat down so they can get paid.
