Vargas-Mayorga Press Conference

If September 8th is anything like the press conference we are in for a real treat.  Former world champions Fernando Vargas and Ricardo Mayorga can’t wait to get their hands on each other and that was made clear by the brawl that took place Wednesday.  When Mayora said something about Vargas’s wife that is when he snapped and landed several blows to his face leaving Mayorga’s left eye cut and his lip bloody.  Vargas will be retiring from boxing but he wants to go out a winner.  Mayorga’s record is 27-6-1 with 22 knockouts, but he got knocked out by Oscar De La Hoya in the World Boxing welterweight title.
