Mayweather Vs. Hatton

Pound for Pound champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be stepping back in the ring again. On December 8th 2007 he will take on Ricky Hatton the junior welterweight champion. The fight is suppose to take place in Las Vegas. Floyd Mayweather Jr. Who said he would retire after defeating Oscar Delahoya has now set his focus on beating Hatton. Hatton record is 43-0 31 KOs has called out Mayweather and now he has responded.
“We’ve agreed to the fight,” Leonard Ellerbe, Mayweather’s close friend and adviser, told ESPN.com. “We’re excited that Ricky Hatton is stepping up to the plate. It’s like this — he asked for it and now he’s gonna get it.” The fight will be promoted by Golden Boy promotions. Hatton is very close to signing an exclusive deal with the Golden Boy promotions. The battle of the undefeated is going too happened the night of Dec. 8th.
