shout out to GAY PRIDE weekend! 6/22-24/2007

Midtown, Atlanta is the center of attention for the festival this year. Several venues such as Eddie’s Attic, & The Loft/Vinyl just to name a few are hosting comedic and beach parties. This year’s theme is “OUR RIGHTS YOUR RIGHTS HUMAN RIGHTS”.
After reading that statement, I was blown away. Because everyday someone is discriminated against and it’s 2007. When will we really just get along? Embrace the diversity that we all have to offer one another. I must admit I laugh and joke about homosexuals. I APOLOGIZE. Because I don’t care what goes on in the bed room. DO YOU? At the end of the day we all want our just due, equal rights, to be loved and belong.
Questioned: Why do the Black Homosexuals have a different PRIDE weekend? I have learned it is around Labor day weekend.
