What Could’ve Been?
Tonight your boy Ken Griffey Jr. comes back to Seattle. Where at one time he was considred the greatest player in the game. He was a 10 time gold glove winner. Hit 398 homeruns as a Seattle Mariner which is still a franchise best. Drafted No.1 in 1987 Griffey by all accounts was to be the best to have ever put on a baseball uniform. One of the best moments of his carrer as a Mariner was his win in 1995 against the New York Yankees a playoff win.
In 1999 the unthinkable happened when Griffey at the middle of the year was traded to the Cinncinnati Reds. During his 8 seasons with the Reds he has been on the DL 8 times. He has missed 350 games who know what his career numbers would have been if he was able to stay healthy. Griffey maybe on the move again there are some whispers that he wants to be traded to the Chicago Cubs. Lou Pinella his former coach is there and he will like to be back with his old skipper. 582 that’s how many homeruns Ken Griffey Jr. has now, but the question goes out to baseball fans everywhere. If he would have stayed in Seattle and been healthy would we be talking about 800 homeruns instead of the 757 mark.

ken griffey jr. has always been a model player. I would like to see him in a Braves uniform. Better yet Ken, go to the highest bidder.
