Shut Out at Shea!!!
Johan Santana threw a compelete game last night. The first of the Season for the CY-Young award winner. Santana hit a double in the 5th inning it was Johan Santana night. Jorge Sosa didn’t have such a good night. The Mets pitcher only went 31/3 innings and gave up six runs. Needless to say the Twins came out with the victory 9-0.
“We would have lost this game if we were in the middle of a hot streak,” Shawn Green said. That’s how good Santana was last night. The Mets could only get 4 hits off Santana he in many word was untouchable. This is the 13th loss in 17 games for the New Mets.
