Phillies- don’t look now are now only 3 games out of first place. J.Rollins is leading off with 11 homeruns and 39 RBIs batting.282.
Mets- have now lost the last 9 out of 10. Injuries for the team with Moises Alou,Shawn Green and a shaky Tom Glavine who got lit up this pass weekend by the Tigers. The Mets are in a real funk.
Atlanta Braves- With the return of Chipper Jones this will hopefully start a winning streak. Andrew Jones batting a miserable .217 and a off and on starting rotation the Braves are lucky to still be in second place.
Marlins- With only a game under 500. The Marlins are no doubt the surprise of the National League East. M.Cabrera has been hitting the cover off the ball 14 homeruns 47 RBIs and a batting avg.332. With great starting pitching Sergio Armando Mitre ERA. of 1.59.
Nationals- D.Young the first basemen and the loan bright spot for this team in terms of batting 6 homeruns 33RBIs and a batting avg. 339. The Nationals are 10 games under 500.

This really shows the weakness of this division that the Mets can go through all of this and still be in first place. The Braves are falling and falling fast. The Marlins are too young and the Phillies really don’t like their manager. So when times get rough they will run and hide.
