The New York Yankees win thier 8th in a row.  Mike Mussina pitched 7 plus innings and help New York remain hot.  The 38 year old right hander struck out 7 and did not walk a batter.  With the 7-2 victory Mussina was able to get his thrid win of the season.  Bobby Abreau who now has 12 game hitting streak and is now for the month of June he is batting a stunting avg.488.  Alex Rodriguez hit his MLB leading 25th homerun.  The Yankees now trail the Red Sox by 81/2 games.
